Do I need to be an ISTD member to be listed on DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG?

Yes, your DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG profile is a free additional benefit and managed via your My ISTD area.

How can I add my profile to DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG?

Simply click on register now and follow the instructions to create your profile.

Can I add links to my website and social media channels?

Yes, your DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG profile allows you to add your website address and up to six social media channels.

Can I add more than one location?

Yes, if you teach at multiple locations, you can add up to five locations to your DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG profile.

Can I add further information such as details about the venue facilities, professional standards and similar more?

Yes, you can add information specifically regarding your venue (e.g. waiting areas, changing facilities) and there is also further free space for additional information (e.g. client testimonials).

Additionally, our internationally recognisable Professional Standards Scheme badges will evidence your commitment to maintaining best practice in dance teaching.

What is the ISTD’s Professional Standards Scheme?

The ISTD Professional Standards Scheme recognises and celebrates your commitment to best practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and helps you evidence not just your qualifications, but your Health & Safety and Child Protection policies and professional insurance by displaying internationally recognisable badges on your profile. Why is DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG free?

It's simply the ISTD's commitment to support our members so that together we can continue to fulfill our mission that is 'to promote the benefits of dancing and educate the public in the art of dancing and all its forms.'

Although we have plans to further develop and add functionality to DANCE-TEACHERS.ORG, basic profiles are free as part of your ISTD membership.

I forgot my password, how can I retrieve it?

On your login page, there is a link 'forgot password'. If you click this, you will be asked to enter your email address. If your email address is found on our system, an email with further instructions will be send to you.

I have problems logging in, what can I do?
