Rumba

The Rumba is a Cuban dance style which evolved alongside Rumba music. The dance style uses syncopated rhythms, with the first step always taken on the second beat of the music. Many of the steps derived from a style called Son which saw couples dancing together in an embrace seen today in Latin dance styles. The Rumba is known for its expressive hip movements and intensified body shimmers.
